The Permit and Plan Review Section is responsible for reviewing and evaluating encroachment permit requests, subdivision and road/flood control improvement plans and specifications and permits for any proposed facilities which is within or may have an effect on the County's right-of-way. The section is responsible for ensuring that any structures that will be accepted to be maintained by the County are built according to the County Standard Plans. They are also responsible to recommend conditions for and inspect special events such as races or filming that occur within the County right-of-way to insure compliance with the permit provisions and safety standards.
