The County of Orange provides pest management services on County maintained facilities, properties, and roadways:
Rodent Control – Includes burrowing rodents such as gophers and ground squirrels. Inquiries about rodents (such as rats) on private property should be directed to OC Mosquito and Vector Control District.
Bee Services – Bee hives and swarms on County rights-of-way in unincorporated areas will be removed or controlled using an integrated pest management approach. Bee issues on public property in city areas should be reported to their respective local government or agency. Hives on private property should be addressed by property owner or private pest control company.
If you think a bee hive or rodents located within the County's public right of way needs servicing, please submit a service request or contact the OC Operations & Maintenance Office at (714) 955-0200.
