Fence Maintenance

OC Operations and Maintenance (O&M) employs fencing to designate right of way and as a primary security measure to protect its properties from unauthorized access. We use various forms of fencing such as chain link, lodgepole and post/wire. In some case, we use a higher level of fencing such as anti-climb and welded metal. The use of these physical barriers serves as a deterrent to trespassers, vandals, and thieves, reducing the likelihood of damage or disruption to the critical infrastructure.

Fencing also plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of employees and the public. Many of OC’s operational sites may contain machinery, rough terrain, or other hazards that could pose serious risks if accessed without proper authorization or training. By clearly delineating restricted zones with fences and appropriate signage, O&M minimizes the risk of accidental injuries or legal liabilities stemming from unauthorized entry. This approach supports our commitment to health and safety of our employees, the residents of Orange County and Orange Counties infrastructure.
